Built a unified design system from scratch in Figma — 40+ reusable components, documented tokens for colour, spacing, and typography, plus usage guidelines. Integrated with Zeplin for seamless developer handoff.

An existing web app had poor mobile adoption — users were dropping off at key conversion steps on mobile. The design lacked responsiveness and violated core usability principles.
Solution
Conducted heuristic evaluation and competitive analysis. Ran usability testing sessions with 8 real users. Redesigned key flows mobile-first using an 8pt grid. Built interactive Figma prototypes for stakeholder validation.
Impact
Stakeholder sign-off achieved in first prototype review — zero major revisions. Delivered design handoff 2 weeks ahead of schedule. Development team reported highest-quality spec they'd received.

Solution
Planned and ran structured usability testing sessions. Created user personas based on real user data. Mapped user flows to identify friction points. Produced wireframes and recommended UI improvements with rationale grounded in findings.
Impact
2 full rounds of design iteration informed by testing. Identified 6 critical usability issues, 4 resolved in the first design sprint. Design fidelity between mockup and final build rated highest by engineering lead.

I'm a UI/UX Designer based in Pune with a background in Fine Arts (BFA, Applied Arts). My design philosophy is rooted in deep empathy — understanding the real human on the other side of every screen before a single pixel is placed.

At The Design Trip, I've grown from intern to full-time designer, leading end-to-end design for responsive web and mobile products. I thrive in the space between research and craft — where data informs beauty.
